Life Keeps Tumbling Your Heart In Circles ...

The Movie, CRASH ... i
s a MUST SEE ... Not one for young children, but definitely one for us grown-ups.  The movie trailer says ...

A Brentwood housewife and her D.A. husband. A Persian store owner. Two police detectives who are also lovers. An African-American television director and his wife. A Mexican locksmith. Two car-jackers. A rookie cop. A middle-aged Korean couple. They all live in Los Angeles. And during the next 36 hours, they will all collide ...

This movie is more than a movie about racism or misplaced aggression.  It makes the point in a profound way that the person we hurt today might be just one person away from the very person we might need to help someone in our life tomorrow or the next day ... We are all connected ... whether we get to see that connection or not, isn't really the point ...

The point is that the little things we do in anger or the little things we do out of compassion create ripples on this "great big pond" ...

What kind of ripple are you?

Even the theme song IN THE DEEP has a haunting way of reminding us that life keeps turning ... tumbling over itself ... taking us back to the place we should have been ... In the sea of humanity,

What kind of ripple are you?

IN THE DEEP

Thought you had
     All the answers
         To rest your heart upon.
But something happens ...
         Don't see it coming ...
     Now you can't stop yourself.
Now you're out there swimming ...
          In the deep ...
               In the deep ...

Life keeps tumbling your heart in circles
     Till you ...
          Let go ...
Till you shed your pride and ...
          You climb to heaven,
And you throw yourself off ...
     Now you're out there spinning
          In the deep ...
               In the deep ...
                    In the deep ...
          In the deep ...

And now you're out there spinning ...
And now you're out there swimming ...
          In the deep ...
               In the deep ...

In the silence...
All your secrets
     Will raise their weary heads
Well ...
     You can't pin yourself
          Back together
With who you thought you were ...

Now you are out there living ...
     In the deep ...
          In the deep ...
               In the deep ...

     In the deep ...

Now you're out there spinning ...
Now you're out there swimming ...
Now you're out there spinning ...
     In the deep ...
          In the deep ...
               In the deep ...
     In the deep ...
          In the deep ...
