April Fools Day ...

(laughing)
Well, April Fools Day to me!
(laughing)
I just typed the most profound, enlightening post (you'll just have to take my word for that! - laughing) and just as I was about to copy and paste it to my blog ... POOF! ... It was gone!
(laughing)
I'm taking that as a pretty good sign I'm not supposed to talk about that right now!
(laughing)
So how about some music?

Day after day, alone on the hill
The man with the foolish grin
Is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he's just a fool
And he never gives an answer

But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round

Well on the way, head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices
Talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him
Or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice

But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round

But nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do
And he never shows his feelings

But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round

Oh round, round, round, round, round

He never listens to them
He knows that they're the fool
And they don't like him

The fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round

WHAT KIND OF FOOL?
                               - Gary Allen

I see you here night after night
All by yourself in the blue neon light
A drink in your hand, a tear on your face
A beautiful woman so out of place
I guess somebody told you goodbye ...
In a million years I couldn't understand why

What kind of fool
Didn't want you
What kind of
fool
Tore your heart in two
What kind of
fool
Didn't do everything he could do
To hold on to you
What kind of
fool

Well, I ain't no saint and I ain't no king
I don't know it all, but I do know one thing
Whoever it was that made you so blue
Never deserved a woman like you
He should be down on his bended knees
Beggin' you to forgive him please

What kind of fool
Didn't want you
What kind of fool
Tore your heart in two
What kind of fool
Didn't do everything he could do
To hold on to you
What kind of fool

One day he'll wake up
And realize the terrible truth
He'll see that he had it all
When he had you.

EVERYBODY PLAYS THE FOOL
                      - Aaron Neville

Ok, so your heart is broken
You’re sitting around mopin’, mopin’, mopin’, cryin’, cryin’
You say you’re even thinking about dying
Well, before you do anything rash, baby, listen to this

Everybody plays the fool,
Sometime
There’s no exception to the rule,
Listen baby
It may be factual, it may be cruel,
I ain’t lying
Everybody plays the fool

Fallin’ in love is such an easy thing to do
But there’s no guarantee that the one you love
Is gonna love you
Oh, loving eyes they cannot see
A certain person could never be
Love runs deeper than any ocean,
It clouds you’re mind with emotion

Everybody plays the fool,
Sometime
There’s no exception to the rule,
listen baby
It may be factual, it may be cruel,
I ain’t lying
Everybody plays the fool

How can you help it, when the music starts to play
And your ability to reason, is swept away
Oh, heaven on earth is all you see,
You’re out of touch with reality
And now you cry, but when you do,
Next time around someone cries for you

Hey, everybody plays the fool,
sometime
Use your heart just like a tool,
listen baby
They never tell you so in school,
I wanna say it again,
Everybody plays the fool

Everybody plays the fool,
sometime
There’s no exception to the rule,
listen baby
It may be factual, it may be cruel,
I ain’t lying
Everybody plays the fool

Every plays the fool,
sometime
There’s no exception to the rule,
listen baby
It may be factual, it may be cruel,
I wanna say it again
Everybody plays the fool
