Meditations, Affirmations & QUOTES

Quotes are my favorite.  I like quotes because they inspire me.  They are like a snapshot in time ... when someone said a sentence that captured how I have felt, how I'm feeling now or how I would like to feel someday ...

There are books of quotes in most book stores, but the Internet has made them even easier to find.  Just type in "Quote + Healing" or "Quote + Love" or "Quote + Hope" or if humor cheers you up, "Humorous Quotes" ... No telling what you will end up with "GOOGLE-ing" that one!

Here are a few I found to get you started:

The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference.
The opposite of art is not ugliness, it’s indifference.
The opposite of faith is not heresy, it’s indifference.
And the opposite of life is not death, it’s indifference.

Although the world is full of suffering,
it is also full of the overcoming of it.

Experience is not what happens to you;
it's what you do with what happens to you.

Whatever you do, you need courage.
Whatever course you decide upon,
there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong.
There are always difficulties arising that tempt you

Finish each day and be done with it.
You have done what you could;
some blunders and absurdities have crept in;
forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day;
you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit
to be encumbered with your old nonsense.
